Akasarushi is hosting its First ever contest~!
When one hears of the word "modeling", most will automatically think of poses and look pretty. Well~ That's one or two out of the many, but that's not all~ Modeling and portray many things and there are many ways of photographing a model besides just taking a picture of a model pose~ ^_^
That's where you come in as a photographer! here's your chance to improve/practice/express yourself and your skill! Work with your doll and show off both of your talents!
Have your doll work as a Model and YOU as a photographer. How well you bond or work with your doll will surely show through your work~
Without further yapping from me~ Here's the info:
General information:Like stated above, modeling is not just about Posing~ ^_^ So don't feel restricted just because your doll is a little loose and he/she can't pose as well as other dolls. There are many way to photograph a doll than just posing~ ^_^

Continue on, At first i thought there should be no Theme. But now that i thought about it. There SHOULD be theme! Since Spring is coming and I Love Spring~ Let it be Spring THEME!
Contest Theme:Spring
Judging:This contest will be public Voting, Voting will be On this forum! Originally it was on DOA, but they doesn't allow me to host it on their site. So We'll have the voting here. Which requires the participants to be Akasarushi Forum members. ^_^
After Voting end. There will be 3 winners! YES! 3 winners! First place, second place, and third place! <3
From Then On, Me and a few photographer friends will choose the grand prize Winner. ^_^ our judging will be base on creativity, composition, and overall look.
Prizes:Yesh! Finally! The good part!
As mentioned above, there will be 3 winners after public voting.
All 3 will each receive a free commission from Akasarushi Fur wig shop.
Grand Prize Winner:+Grand Prize winner will receive a $30 Store Credit to Any of the Akasarushi Shop.
+The winning Picture will get feature in the Next
Akasarushi Magazine(doll version), which will be given out to all Akasarushi future customers after their purchase. And of course An Article feature the Model and the Photographer. ^_^ So please be ready for an interview. ^_^
Deadline: Final date for Submission is: March 14th, 2009
Voting date: To be decided(depends on how fast i can sort through)
and everything that will follow after that won't take too long.

ONE image, and
ONE image only. I know. It's tough, but hey~ There must be one that will speak to you right? If not, have your friend help you pick~ ^_^
Please PM your entries to me or through email. Few rules to Follow:+Doll Must be owned by the Photographer
+No more than 2 dolls in the Photograph
+Must be New Work and not recycle/pre-existing work
+Follow the Theme(which is Spring)
+Please don't Plagiarize
** Photoshop IS allow, but only for Resizing & leveling, so please. No Sparklies or extreme effects. ^_^; **
Submission Guideline:+Give your image a Name/Title
+Image Maximum size 650 pixels on whichever is the longest.
+Your Doll information such as sculpt, what type of skin, ect.
+Please Do not include any text or watermarks on the image. It will be use later so we don't want that now do we. ^_^
