Copy Pasted from DOA. Mainly so I can just post other random pictures here of her.
((
NOTE: No birds or birds nests were disturbed in this photo shoot. All the houses here have not been lived in this year. There are three on the property that ARE populated, and I stayed far away from those.))

One fine breezy day, Shillelagh, the local 'Book Store Cat' as she so liked to be called (had a jobly ring to it really, but yet it was not a taxable one. Must be frugal after all.)
decided to go out and invite the neighbours over for a spot of 'tea'. The fact that all of the neighbours she wished to invite were of the feathered variety was of no suspicious planning from herself.
Supposedly.
So off she went a visiting.

The first home was of the well built but drably colored variety, but as it had a lovely front veranda Shillelagh was apt to be appreciative of the architect for thinking of non-flying visitors.

Unfortunately, a few knocks upon the roof and a few scratches near the entrance yielded
no greetings at all.
/How rude!/ Thought The Book Store Cat, /Playing hard to get does not work for me!/

... and so she looked inside and gave a 'MEW!' to announce herself.
Only
no one was inside.

/Well really! It is a bit early to be gone on winters vacation now isn't it? We haven't even had a touch of frost yet!/ Shillelagh crinkled her little whiskers in annoyance.
Well, there were still the other neighbours. Their abode was a bit more of a trail to get to, but she did not spend her days with her claws climbing book cases and curling up in curtains for nothing!

/... They don't seem to be home either. Oh dear./
"MEW!"
No reply. It seemed all of her neighbours that she cared to dine... with... had already flown away to Bermuda or some far of tiki sounding island early in the year.
Or they had simply moved their coop after hearing a rather wily she cat had moved into the area, but she wasn't going to give them that much credit. They were, after all, only birds, and thus bird brained at that.
Still, either way it left her with only tea and crumpets for this afternoon. Oh well, it was always a bother cleaning up all the feathers before her OwnerFreind came up for supper.
A bit of raspberry jam on her crumpets would just have to do instead.~~~~~~ OMAKE ~~~~~~

/No, seriously. Get me off this car dash board. My bum is starting to burn and I am getting car sick. Do they EVER fill in potholes out here??/
