Hum.... the series I really like are not finished yet (Mostly manga though) or the anime is, but not the manga, and for me that means incomplete....
FMA's first anime is incomplete for me.... since it does not follow the anime and it finished pretty badly IMO xP
Samourai Champloo is the only exception since its and Anime only. Best thing ever made.
PS: Manga came out after anime.

so they DID make FMA second season.. lol.. somehow... i can't bring myself to watch it...

Its not a second season D<!!! (Sorry... its just... nevermind D':)
They completely remade the anime so it follows the manga =O!
The manga as still a few chapters left before its end....
Right now they are a little past the middle of the story in the new anime.
About ~20 episodes and it will end.

You mean from the fisrt anime ?
Well... there would not be anything to continue.... Even if the did not consider the movie they would not be able to do anything really good with almost everyone dead/amnesiac or dissapeared in another world...
